This is the collage I made after seeing this Daily News article illustration about the guns used in the Sandy Hook Shooting, I have removed the actual gun images and replaced them with similar guns made from Hurricane Sandy beach trash.

Bushmaster AR-15 Assault Rifle made from Hurricane Sandy Beach Trash
I gathered all of this plastic trash from the beaches after Hurricane Sandy and stared at the pile for a while, wondering what to do with it... I was on the brink of taking it all to the recycling center when the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School happened and I decided to turn it into an AR-15, Be on the lookout for the Glock, the Sig Sauer and body armor in the works. Note the Details like the Pacifier as the shoulder hook, the shotgun shells as the clip and you can actually pick it up and aim it through the baby shovel handle.

Seagull Visits Earth Day at the Javits Center!
Today we took a Gull on a bamboo stick down to Earth Day at The Javits Center.
Much to our Surprise there were already Six Pack Sculptures there! Sustainable NYC decided to bring the Sea Turtle and the Coathanger Gull Prototype and show them at their booth.
We had a great time, Ate healthy energy bars and met all kinds of colorful folks. 2 or 3 potential shows emerged, an Earth Day afternoon well spent!
